Traditional three-day eventing encompasses three distinct tests of horse and rider, taking place on three consecutive days: dressage, cross-country and show jumping. The cross-country phase is what differentiates this discipline – the ability to gallop and jump across rolling terrain, over solid obstacles which include water, hedges, ditches, banks and fences.

In its fifth year at The Royal, our Indoor Eventing is a hybrid of the true three-day, combining the thrill and excitement of the cross- country test with the accuracy needed to leave fragile show-jumps standing. All set to rocking music!
