Directions to The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair

The Royal is home to Exhibition place, taking place in the Coca-Cola Coliseum and Enercare Centre which is located on 100 Princes’ Blvd in downtown Toronto on the shores of Lake Ontario. By Car

Take the Gardiner Expressway west to Spadina/Lake Shore Boulevard cutoff and follow the signs for Lake Shore Boulevard.

Take Lake Shore Boulevard to Strachan Avenue and enter via Manitoba Dr. (just north of the Princes’ Gates).

Take the Gardiner Expressway east to Lake Shore Boulevard

Stay on Lake Shore Blvd. West

There are three entrance points (at the traffic lights) to Exhibition Place from Lake Shore Boulevard – British Columbia Road, Ontario Drive and Newfoundland Drive.

Exit 427 south to Gardiner Expressway East.

Take the Gardiner Expressway east to Lake Shore Boulevard.

Take Bathurst Street north to Lakeshore Blvd. West.

Take Lake Shore Boulevard West, turn north on Strachan Avenue and enter via Manitoba Dr. (just north of the Princes Gates), or turn North onto Fort York Road, and west at the lights on to Strachan Avenue into Exhibition Place.

By Bicycle

There are 732 bike racks located on the grounds of Exhibition Place. Download a map of their locations here

Toronto’s first New Mobility Hub is located at the Exhibition Place GO Station. The Hub provides multiple modes of transportation services such as TTC, GO, a Bikeshare Hub, bicycle parking, a WIFI hotspot, taxi hotline, weather and tourist info, secure bicycle lockers, and a map of downtown Toronto.

Public Transit

The Royal in its partnership with GO Transit is pleased to offer combination Royal Admission + GO Transit Combo Passes.* Return travel is included anywhere GO services, along with entrance to the Fair, for one low price:

Taking the GO train to The Royal is easy and drops you right beside Exhibition Place, a short walk to the Fair entrance. GO Train service to Exhibition GO Station on the Lakeshore West Line occurs approx. every 30 minutes. If you are taking a GO bus, use GO Transit’s Plan Your Trip feature to find the most effective way to connect to a Lakeshore West Train, and take it right to Exhibition GO Station for no additional cost.

Take the Bloor subway to Dufferin Station, board the #29 bus south to Exhibition Place.

Take the Bloor subway to Bathurst Station, board the #511 streetcar south to Exhibition Place.

 

Take the Yonge-University subway to Union Station. Take the 509 Streetcar from the Union Station southbound streetcar tunnel towards Exhibition Place.

Parking at Exhibition Place

Parking is available to the public in the following lots:

  • Enercare Centre Garage = 850
  • 851, 852, 853, 854, 855, 856, 857
 
Please Note: Parking Lots 858 and 859 are not available to the public along with limited access to Parking Lot 856. All other Exhibition Place lots are available and parking is administered and staffed via Exhibition Place

Indoor parking (Enercare Centre) rates increase $3 on peak usage days

All parking lots are operated by Exhibition Place. Taxicab service is available at all main entrances.  Exhibitor parking programs and valet parking services are also offered.

Take the Gardiner Exhibition Place provides a total of 88 accessible parking spaces throughout all of its surface parking lots and indoor garage. All spaces are located near the entrances to the lots and/or close to the pedestrian access points to buildings and event space. Regular parking rates apply.

A total of 14 parking spaces are provided exclusively for energy efficient hybrid electric/gasoline vehicles. These preferred spaces are located in Lots 852, 852, 853 and 854 and the indoor garage, in close proximity to the wheelchair-accessible spaces. The preferred location of the hybrid spaces recognizes the contribution that owners are making towards lowering emissions, and the use of the spaces is left to the discretion of drivers. Regular parking rates apply.

Charge your electric vehicle in the underground parking garage at Enercare Centre. Look for the green ‘Electric Vehicle Charging Station’ signs in the underground parking lot: on the west, and north side of Hall D (green zone); south side of Hall B (blue zone); north and south side of Hall A (red zone). Regular parking rates apply.

A total of 5 parking spaces are provided for the exclusive use of parents with small children and/or strollers. These are located in the indoor garage, and in Lots 851 and 853, near the accessible and hybrid parking spaces, with easy access to the buildings and event space. Regular parking rates apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

The 2024 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is taking place from November 1st until November 10th. It is open on Sundays & Mondays (Nov. 3,4 and 10) 9am-6pm and on Tuesday – Saturday (Nov 5-9) 9am-8pm.

Unfortunately there are no refunds or exchanges for any reason. All tickets purchased are final sale. This applies to General Admission, Royal Horse Show, Culinary Academy and any other relevant paid event tickets. Unless specified otherwise. 

We offer 3 Day Passes for General Admission. Otherwise all of our tickets are valid for one day entry to General Admission, Royal Horse Show, Culinary Academy and any other relevant paid event tickets.

Coat Check will be available during the day in the Galleria Hall A and evening/ night in the Coca-Cola Coliseum.

We would recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes so you can enjoy and explore our extensive amount of activities and be ready to walk throughout The Royal experiencing them.

Debit and credit machines are not mandatory for The Royal vendors. They use them at their own discretion and many vendors accept cash only. There are ATMs available throughout the grounds and in most buildings.

The Royal is pleased to partner with the Fairmont Royal York to provide reduced rates during the fair.

Fairmont Royal York: One of Toronto’s classic and luxurious hotels, conveniently located on Front St. in the downtown corridor. The Royal York provides a complimentary shuttle to the Fair every 20 minutes between 8-10am, 4-7pm, 9pm-12am.

The Access 2 card grants individuals with disabilities 1 free general admission ticket for their support person. Cardholders pay the applicable general admission fee. Present your valid Access 2 Card when purchasing your general admission ticket at one of our box office locations.

*Persons over the age of 18 may be asked to present personal identification (photo ID not required) at the time of purchase. Tickets must be used day of purchase with the support person present. Not valid on Horse Show tickets.

Yes, there are plenty educational and entertaining activities on-site.

If you have already purchased a General Admission ticket and would like to attend the Royal Horse Show then you can upgrade your ticket at the Upgrade Horse Show ticket booth AT the Fair.

Yes, horse show tickets include general admission to the Fair for the same day as your purchased horse show ticket.
